Philly Beer Week Opening Tap will take place at Independence Visitor Center located at Sixth and Market Streets, between 7:30 PM and 10 PM. A staggering variety of microbreweries will be offering their fares for visitors, with a flat fee of $41 to get in. To be right in the midst of historic Philadelphia, with the city's multiplicity of beer offerings, is a great way to start off summer in this most historic city.

All Day Long with Long Trail – Bridgid's Bar and Restaurant – Fairmount/Spring Garden – noon to midnight.
Third Annual PBW Kickoff Party – The Institute – 2 PM to 2 AM
Opening Ceremonies – Standard Tap – Fishtown/Northern Liberties – 4 PM to 2 AM

Bacon, Beer, Brunch - will be available at the Continental Martini Bar, at Second and Market Streets in Old City, from 10 AM to 4 PM. This is an opportunity to get a great start on the day before historic sightseeing in Old City.
Varga Bar Block Party – Center City – 11 AM to 5 PM – at this event, live music will accompany the various suds for tasting available.
North Coast Brewing Takeover – The Bishop's Collar – Fairmount – 1 PM to 4 PM – this fine little pub is but a stone's throw from the Gothic glories of Eastern State Penitentiary down the street.
Stout Brunch – Rembrandt's – Fairmount – 10:30 AM to 2 PM – also an excellent choice in visiting Eastern State Penitentiary.
