Philadelphia New Year’s Eve Fireworks 2010 – A Complete Guide

For the first time, there will be two shows of Philadelphia New Year’s Eve Fireworks 2010, due to their enormous popularity, at Penn's Landing.

The First Fireworks Show - 6:00 PM

The Second Fireworks Show - Midnight

The first – the matinee, so to speak – will take place at 6:00 PM. The second will be at the stroke of midnight, to ring in 2011. Both will take about the same amount of time – 15 minutes or so – and both will be equally spectacular.

However, please be patient, as this page is still under construction. However, eventually, we’ll have a complete guide to enjoying the fireworks, including how to travel to Penn’s Landing for them via SEPTA. So please check back for more content… Thanks…

In the meantime, we’d recommend that you take a look at our other two pages:

One is for Philadelphia New Year’s Eve 2010 events, appropriate for all ages-

The other is for Philadelphia New Year’s Eve 2010 upscale parties, and these events are only for adults-

You Can See Both the 6:00 PM Fireworks and the Midnight Fireworks at the New SugarHouse Casino in Fishtown / Northern Liberties – And You Can Bring the Entire Family To Its River Walk

On September 23, 2010, the SugarHouse Casino opened its doors on Delaware Avenue, in the border between the gentrifying neighborhoods of Fishtown and Northern Liberties (the latter affectionately known as “NoLibs”).

The SugarHouse actually offers an opportunity, to watch both sets of fireworks (for free) at its river walk, which is outside alongside the Delaware River. They will have concession stands outside on the river walk, selling (relatively) inexpensive hot chocolate, hot dogs, pretzels, and drinks. (Note: You can take those under 21 to the river walk to see the fireworks and munch at the concession stands, but you have to be 21 or over, to actually enter the SugarHouse Casino building itself.)
